Found this lovely shaping bodice online on a French site and took the cake home. Expecting it in a few days. Or weeks ? And while waiting...
Dug in the customer reviews for that product. A gold mine for mindless and overall saddening opinions on glamour.
A small minority agrees that it's well made, quality materials and work, provides superior shape, lifts the girls and achieves it's purpose, great figure, dramatic bustline, stunning overall effect.
Then the majority of those unhappy by their purchase and the reasons for their regrets, including:
- It's tight
- Requires some efforts to don
- Adds boobage
- Has whalebones
- Feels too appealing
- Promotes a straight position
- Makes you feel and move like a queen
Wow. Too much negative wisdom to bear even for the trained ones. No, you can't make up such nonsensical excellence.
Bottom line, the majority of those purchasing a moderately supportive undergarment lament that it manages to somehow perform it's intended purpose.
Just what's wrong with you girls?
Yep. What the hell is wrong with you, those who purchase a lightweight corset and lament that it does what it says, what a corset is supposed to do?
Would you ladies purchase a kitchen knife and then give it outright low ratings because it actually slices bread or chops tomatoes?
I was suspicious that the lingerie culture has reached an all time low but had no clue on precisely how low this can be.
Yet the worst was yet to come. A completely derated brainiac suggested that those who purchase a corsetry item should immediately remove all bones, stays and underwires from it.
Wow.
That's just too much of nullship. My guess is that limpets have more brain power.
Come-on Girls, is that that the full extend of your undergarment culture? Glamour anyone?
Removing the stays from a shaping garment designed to benefit from their structural support?
Scary. Hope none of them is an aeronautical engineer. For they might as well remove spars from aircraft wings for a somehow more comfortable jellyfish tentacle like structure.
Jellyfish brains on the loose. Sad...
