Prof. Carlton as Carlotta |
Therefore I'll never get honors and tenure in psychiatry, a trade where professors are paid for not knowing. (hear the quantum-physics bunch laugh ,,,)
Today I stumbled on an excellent paper by Prof. Carlton Davis and therefore this post.
His article is really excellent, a full extend demonstration of how psychology and psychiatry turn ignorance into highly sought after professional asset.
Dan Socall PhD, the director of the University Counseling Center, responded to this article with a letter to the editor saying, "I find this story atypical for bipolar disorder."
My reply to this statement is "What is typical for bipolar disorder?"
I don't think you can simply say what I did wasn't the norm because there is no norm.
As good as it gets. A type of disorder with nothing typical normative to it.
No, you can't put this up. The author, or whoever hacked into his word processor, has outdone himself.
Then a full blown cognitive miracle occurs in the next paragraph, just like that, a sudden thunder from a blue sky:
That is the point. Bipolar disorder leads to extreme behavior and extreme sexual behavior is a symptom.
Hypersexuality becomes typical norm, symptom of bipolar disorder. Applause !
Quite an achievement since just a few words upwards, the author was asking another eminent specialist what are the typical norms of bipolar disorder. The answer must have been really good...
Subsequently the Professor pulls a cunning row of stunts from his personal experience in associating hypersexuality to cross-dressing and cross-dressing to bipolar disorder. Each and every way you like it.
Aren't you happy Girls ? What a chance, we are now affected by bipolar disorder as well.
And our crossdressing is a way to resorb the typically atypical out of norms normal behavior of bipolar disorder.
Anyone unsure that psychiatry is a scam, raise your hands.
More dramatic is that guys who write such peer reviewed crap are subpoenaed as experts in courts.
Time has come.
Psychiatry should openly admit it's incompetence to sort-out the mysteries of cross-dressing and leave us alone.
that would be nice left alone and be accepted for who we are
